Arc Detector Options:
A - Input Power at Pin A is +28V
B - Latching Capability. Output is TTL unless otherwise specified. The armed state is TTL 1 (+5V). Fired State is TTL 0. After being triggered by an arc, the latching circuit must be reset to return to the armed state. This is accomplished by bringing Pin C to TTL momentarily, then returned to TTL 0.
For option BB , Pin C is at ground in the armed state. To reset, Pin C is momentarily lifted off ground (open circuit) then returned to ground.
C - Self test by means of an LED built in to the Arc Detector. Power to illuminate the LED is applied to Pin B. Five volts is applied to Pin B. Current required is 5 to 10 ma.
D - Output voltage +14 to + 17 volts. This option requires choosing option A, 28 volts input. The armed voltage is +14 to +17 volts. The fired voltage is 1 to 2 volts.
For any of the options shown above add the appropriate letter to the end of the model number. It is possible to add more than one option.
Example P/N: 137每ARCE每A每2每2 becomes: 137每ARCE每A每2每2/AB when options A & B are desired.
Additionally, Bi-Directional Arc Detectors are also available. These can be supplied on 90o E or H bends or on straight sections of waveguide. The same options as on the units listed are available. |
