Coaxial coupler is a standard device commonly used in microwave testing and measurement, which is used for the distribution and synthesis of RF power to achieve power monitoring. In a microwave communication system, a portion of the radio frequency signal is coupled out for monitoring the power, output spectrum of the transmitter. The reflected power from the transmitter to the antenna can also be calculated to monitor the matching of the devices in the system.
