Frequency multiplier
A coaxial frequency multiplier is a passive or active RF module housed in a coaxial package. It generates harmonic components using nonlinear devices and then employs filtering to extract the desired N‑th harmonic signal. It offers excellent harmonic suppression, low conversion loss or gain, and superior phase‑noise performance. Its interfaces typically include SMA, 2.92 mm, and other coaxial connectors, eliminating the need for additional waveguide transitions, and making it well suited for applications such as microwave and millimeter‑wave test systems, communication local oscillators, radar signal sources, and more.
• Output frequency band: 18 GHz to 42 GHz
• Multiplier: 2/4X
• Input power: -6 to +3 dBm
• Excellent harmonic suppression and spurious emissions
