Waveguide Fixed Attenuator
Waveguide fixed attenuators are essential passive components used to precisely reduce the power level of RF signals. Leveraging the closed metallic cavity structure of rectangular waveguides, they introduce microwave‑absorbing sheets at specific locations within the waveguide’s electric‑field distribution, converting a portion of the electromagnetic energy into heat and dissipating it. Serving as “power‑regulating valves” in high‑power, high‑frequency RF chains, waveguide fixed attenuators fully exploit the inherent low‑loss and high‑power capabilities of waveguide structures.
• Operating frequency range: 40 GHz to 170 GHz
• Multi-waveguide port WR6/8/10/12
• Low standing wave
• Typical insertion loss: 3 dB / 6 dB / 10 dB / 20 dB
